Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Postiller, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

License

Postiller grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

This is a one-time purchase license. Once purchased, you may use the app indefinitely on your personal devices. There are no subscription fees or recurring charges.

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you create, store, or generate using Postiller. Your content remains on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. Do not use Postiller to create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

Third-Party Services

Postiller integrates with third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) through your own API keys. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and usage policies:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. API usage costs are billed directly by these providers according to their pricing.

API Keys

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys. API keys are stored encrypted on your device and are never transmitted to Postiller servers. Do not share your API keys with others.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Use the app to generate spam, misleading content, or impersonate others
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the app
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app

Disclaimer of Warranties

POSTILLER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before use.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTILLER AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the app or posting notice on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
