Our Team

Meet the people building the privacy-first content creation tool we all wished existed.

Lexi Mercer

Founder & CEO

Lexi Mercer

Lexi spent a decade at the intersection of technology and strategy. After earning her master's in Human-Computer Interaction, she joined a major tech company's privacy strategy team, where she helped shape positioning around user data as a competitive advantage. From there, she led AI product strategy at a productivity startup, managing a team of 20+ and shipping features used by millions.

But something didn't sit right. Every AI tool she evaluated wanted user data flowing through their servers. Every business model was built on surveillance infrastructure. She had 2,400 bookmarks she couldn't find, and every solution wanted to own the problem — and her content.

So she built something different. Postiller is the tool Lexi wanted to exist: powerful AI that runs entirely on your device, using your own API keys, with a one-time purchase that means you actually own the software. As a mother raising a 9-year-old daughter, she wanted to build a company worth being proud of — one that proves you can build great technology without compromising on values.

Jordan Ellis

Jordan Ellis

Marketing & Community

Atlanta native who knows how to build community without being cringe. Tired of growth hacking that treats users as metrics. At Postiller, he's building genuine connection around a product that respects its users. No dark patterns. No engagement traps.

Chairman of the Board

Tim Roman

Tim is a technology executive and entrepreneur who advises several companies at the intersection of AI and human productivity. He founded SpecWeave, an agent-first requirements platform, and serves on the boards of multiple ventures exploring how AI can amplify human capability rather than replace it.

With over a decade of experience helping Fortune 500 companies transform their operations, Tim brings strategic perspective to Postiller's mission. He believes we're at an inflection point where AI stops being a threat narrative and starts being what it actually is: the most powerful tool for helping people do more of what they love.

“AI isn't taking anyone's job,” Tim says. “It's giving everyone a team. The question isn't whether to use it — it's whether you'll use tools that respect you or ones that exploit you. That's why Postiller matters.”

What Drives Us

Privacy First

Your data stays on your device. We built our architecture so we couldn't access your content even if we wanted to.
