About Postiller
Building the AI writing tool we wished existed.
The Problem We Saw
AI writing tools are incredible. They can help you draft posts, refine your ideas, and overcome writer's block. But almost all of them share one thing in common: they want your data.
Your bookmarks, notes, drafts, and ideas flow through their servers. Your content trains their models. Your writing history sits in databases you don't control. And for the privilege, you pay monthly subscriptions that never end.
We thought there had to be a better way.
A Different Approach
Postiller flips the script. Instead of uploading your data to our servers, everything stays on your device. Your bookmarks, ideas, and drafts never leave your iPhone or iPad.
When you want AI assistance, you use your own API keys from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Your requests go directly to them—not through us. We never see your content, and we never could.
For many features, you don't even need the cloud. Apple's on-device AI handles embeddings for semantic search, title generation, and basic text processing. It's fast, it's private, and it's free.
Why One-Time Purchase?
Subscription fatigue is real. You're already paying for your AI API keys (only when you use them). Why should you also pay us $15/month forever?
Postiller is a one-time purchase. You buy it once, you own it. Updates are free. Your investment doesn't depreciate over time.
This model keeps us honest. We have to earn your purchase with a great product, not lock you into recurring payments for features you rarely use.
The Vision
We believe your best content comes from authentic ideas—not AI templates. Postiller helps you capture those ideas when they strike, organize them, and transform them into polished posts when you're ready.
Whether it's a bookmark that sparked a thought, a note you jotted down, or a rough draft you've been sitting on, Postiller helps you do something with it.
Your ideas, amplified. That's what we're building.
